Lyrics

Keep Watch, Be Ready

[Intro]
Yeshua is coming
Yeshua is coming
Keep watch, be ready
Keep watch, be ready

[Chorus]
Keep watch, be ready, Yeshua is coming
Coming at an hour when you don’t expect him.
Keep watch, be ready, lamps all burning
Waiting for the moment of His return.

[Verse 1]
Oil in my lamp yeah, I’m steady, I’m steady
Our blessed hope, yeah I’m ready, I’m ready
World tryna pull me, but my soul stay firm
I’m Armoured up, I’m prepared for His return

[Pre-Chorus]
Every sign I see, over all the land
Every prophesy, trust in His perfect plan
For all of these things must come to pass
Heart is steadfast His kingdom is at hand

[Chorus]
Keep watch, be ready, Yeshua is coming
coming at an hour when you don’t expect him
Keep watch, be ready, lamps all burning
Waiting for the moment of His return

[Post-Chorus]
(Keep watch) keep watch
(Be ready) be ready
Yeshua is coming, yeah, Yeshua is coming
(Keep watch) keep watch
(Be ready) be ready
Yeshua is coming, yeah, Yeshua is coming

[Verse 2]
It’s getting dark I’m watching and praying
many may be rescued before it’s too late
I won’t sleep on the promise He gave
Got a seat at the table with this soul He saved

[Pre-Chorus]
Every breath I breathe, I will praise HIs name
On the last day we will all be changed
With a shout and the trumpet sound
Every eye will see Him and knee will bow

[Chorus]
Keep watch, be ready, Yeshua is coming
Coming at an hour you do not expect Him
Keep watch, be ready, lamps all burning
Waiting for the moment of His return

[Bridge]
Abiding love, won’t fade away (won’t fade)
Watch over us to the break of day (of day)
Hope of glory, delight in His way (His way)
I’ve been waiting, I’ve been waiting

Abiding love, won’t fade away (won’t fade)
Watch over us to the break of day (of day)
Hope of glory, delight in His way (His way)
I’ve been waiting, I’ve been waiting

[Chorus]
Keep watch, be ready, Yeshua is coming
Coming at an hour when you don’t expect him
Keep watch, be ready, lamps all burning
Waiting for the moment of His return

[Outro]
Yeshua is coming, keep watch, be ready
Yeshua is coming, strong in faith, steady
Yeshua is coming, keep watch, be ready
Yeshua is coming

keep watch, be ready
Yeshua is coming
Hold fast in hope
Yeshua is coming
Yeshua is coming
Yeshua is coming
Yeshua is coming
